According to the findings of a study by the University of New Mexico, cannabis may be useful to reduce fatigue levels.
As emphasized in Medical Cannabis and Cannabinoids, a research team examined the self-administration sessions of more than 1,200 people between June 2016 and August 2019.
The research team used a mobile app to measure the impact of the cannabis use on fatigue levels in vivo.
As much as 91 percent of subjects studied claimed they experienced symptom relief by the use of cannabis.
“The findings suggest that the majority of patients experience decreased fatigue from consumption of Cannabis flower consumed in vivo, although the magnitude of the effect and extent of side effects experienced likely vary with individuals’ metabolic states and the synergistic chemotypic properties of the plant,” the authors concluded in their journal report.
